Separation of Church & State?

The argument is always heated when it comes election season as to how much people of faith should be able to speak about politics in churches, synagogues, and mosques.

So I was intrigued when I was at the St. Bonaventure University library last month and came across these two volumes of actual Political Sermons in the Founding era of our nation’s history. Unfortunately I was on my way out of the library when I accidentally stumbled across them, so I only got to snap a picture. After Easter I will find these again.
